Looking for a PC game which is hard and relentless, but fun and rewarding.?

Have you tried 'The Witcher' or the sequel when it comes out this year or even Dynasty warriors, not sure how that plays on a PC, but with the difficultly ramped up it could pose the challenge you are looking for.
