Help with fluid intake because of heart failure?

I have heart failure and I have been told to keep my fluid intake to 1.5 liters. I am on strong diuretic also. My problem is that I can constantly thirsty. I can think of anything but drinking a big glass of water. Is there anything I can do to quench my thirst while keeping my fluid intake under my alloted amount? I hope someone knows some tricks because Im going out of my mind. I feel like a man in a desert.
