Why does Powerade cost less than Gatorade?

If noticed this in every market in my town for at least 5 years. Powerade cost $.88 and Gatorade cost $1. If tried them both and they taste the same and quench my thirst equally. Because of the lesser cost, I'm a Powerade drinking. Why the price difference?
