Which carb to use for same power less fuel?

I have a four barrel holly carb, and its eatting my gas like there is no tomorrow. I was wondering. Which carburator would use less gas without taking away horse power. Also what engine oil weight should I use for a rebuilt 82 302 engine, I been told use straight 30
