What do you feel before you orgasm?

I know that orgasm is the peak of sexual pleasure but is there a difference between the peak of sexual pleasure and sexual pleasure its self? Like, is it possible that what is felt before the orgasm (the sexual pleasure of having a hot females naked body rubbing yours) may be more pleasureful than the orgasm (with the sexual arousal being quenched but before the orgasm)?
